Capital and debt advisory
We prepare companies to raise debt or equity, from the business plan and model to the information memorandum, and we advise on refinancing, restructuring and Qatar Development Bank financing.
Lenders and investors look for a credible plan, a model they can test and a clear use of funds. We prepare these with the management team, so the first meeting is spent on the business itself.
We have no loan book to fill, so our view of how much a company should borrow, and on what terms, serves the company alone.
What we work on
- Debt finance
- Working capital, term loans and project finance: the business case, the cash flow forecast and the repayment capacity behind the request.
- Equity
- Preparation for a first investor or a new round: the business plan, the model, the valuation and the information memorandum.
- Qatar Development Bank
- Financing applications under Qatar Development Bank programmes, prepared by one of the bank's approved service providers.
- Refinancing and restructuring
- A revised plan and forecast when existing debt no longer fits the business, set out so lenders can assess it.
From need to decision
We work through four steps with the management team.
Diagnosis
What the company needs, how much, for how long, and what it can support.
The case
The business plan, the financial model and the information lenders or investors ask for.
The materials
The information memorandum, the data room and answers to the questions that will come.
To a decision
Support while lenders or investors review the case, until the company has their answer.
Regulatory note
Our capital advisory work does not include arranging or placing capital.
